We are an aquaculture company involved in a fully integrated commercial scale marine fish farming consisting of hatcheries, nurseries, offshore cages and fish processing plants.  We are currently constructing two large scale marine fish farms - in Langkawi, Kedah and in Tok Bali, Kelantan.   M&E Technician / Executive Langkawi (Kedah), Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Shah Alam / Subang (Selangor) Responsibilities: To process requests on repair and maintenance works for hatchery, nursery and broodstock buildings and associated building in the Hatchery Complexes in both Langkawi and Tok Bali, and the growout building at a Growout Complex in Negeri Sembilan. Conduct regular site visits to the hatchery and growout complexes or liaise with respective Hatchery and Growout Managers to assess the scope of work needed for repairs and maintenance, and to recommend improvements and gather quotations for equipment purchases. To arrange and ensure periodic preventive maintenance work being carried out as per schedule. Prepare Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Expense budget and provide recommendations to Heads of Department. Troubleshoot and repair equipment on ad hoc basis. To serve and to assist the hatchery and growout operations in all matters related to technical issues. To deliver training to the hatchery and growout operators when required. To be involved in all the engineering activities such as: installation, dismantling, testing and commissioning of all equipment. To handle project and site work when required. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time and when necessary. Requirements: Certificate/ Diploma/ Higher Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Strong machinery trouble-shooting skills especially in electrical, pumps and electronic control systems is required. Required skill(s) : AutoCAD, Ms Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Required language(s): English and Malay.  Mandarin would be an advantage.
